Description
EchoPark Speedway (formerly Atlanta Motor Speedway) is a 1.54-mile quad-oval with 28 degrees of banking. Since its 2021 repave and reconfiguration, it races much more like a miniature superspeedway than a traditional intermediate oval. The surface is smooth, the lanes are narrow, and the draft is everything. Drivers routinely run two- and three-wide for long stretches, with pack racing similar to Daytona or Talladega—but because the track is smaller, things happen much faster and mistakes are punished immediately.
