North Wilkesboro Speedway is a historic 0.625-mile short track that has taken on an entirely new personality following its repave and updated iRacing scan. The fresh surface provides significantly more grip than the old pavement, while the wider racing groove gives drivers multiple options for attacking each end of the racetrack.
The track’s elevation changes remain a defining characteristic. The car climbs uphill through Turns 1 and 2 before charging downhill toward Turns 3 and 4, creating two distinctly different corner-entry and exit demands. With multiple lanes now becoming viable, success depends on having a versatile Next Gen car that can maintain speed across the bottom, middle, and upper grooves.
