Every degree of steering adds drag. IMS punishes scrubbing speed more than any track in NASCAR.

Straight-line braking only. Trail braking makes the car unstable and kills entry speed.
3. Exit Speed Over Entry Speed
You gain more time by exiting fast than entering fast. Each straight is long enough to magnify mistakes.
